The Competence Center for 3D Building is a landmark in the landscape of additive building manufacturing, the 3D printing of buildings: an innovation that is changing the building industry like never before.
We are a research center and, simultaneously, a cross-sector network for the entire supply chain. We bring new technologies, skills, and processes to attract the best talents and the most cutting-edge international companies.

The Center makes its expertise and technologies available free of charge for scenarios and areas where 3d printing technology for buildings can have a positive impact by decreasing costs and lead times. In addition, the Center provides enabling expertise to coordinate technical aspects of extraordinary or emergency interventions. Examples may include areas affected by catastrophic events, emergency housing needs, or projects in developing countries.
With 3D printing of buildings, safe and earthquake-resistant housing is created. And new materials used for the building operation can be part of a circular economy logic
